The wraps come off Britain's international motor show next Tuesday and it is a significant event for both Ferrari and Maserati with UK debuts from each of the world's most prestigious sports car brands and our biggest ever presence at the event.

The purpose of my note is to offer a quick guide to what's new from us at the show.

Maserati - Stand 120, Hall 6

Current range - Maserati Coupé and Spyder have now been joined by the Quattroporte and GranSport

New at Birmingham 2004

* GranSport - UK debut of this significant, edgier development of the grand touring Coupé

* MC12 - UK debut of the new GT racing car. NB this racing version of the car will only be at the show on Press Day, Business Day and Preview Day

* Supermodel and Maserati driver Jodie Kidd will be on the stand between 11am and 2pm to be photographed in the Trident vehicles

Ferrari - Stand 120, Hall 6

Current range - 360 Modena, 360 Spider, Challenge Stradale, 575M Maranello have now been joined by 612 Scaglietti and 575M with Handling GTC pack

New at Birmingham 2004

* 612 Scaglietti - UK debut for the all-new V12 four-seat Ferrari

* 575M with Handling GTC pack - UK debut for this aggressive development of the 575M Maranello
